Autumn is...

We have been learning to use adjectives and adverbs in our writing. This helps to create a clear picture in the head of the reader.

Autumn is nuts tumbling from the nasty old oak tree.

  1. Your "Autumn is..." poems are just stunning Room 9. You have used fabulous adverbs and adjectives (and I noticed some great verbs too!) to bring your writing alive and to create such lovely pictures in the mind. Aren't we lucky to have so many beautiful autumn trees at our school?
