The Mad Scientists group (children not doing the Science Challenge) made wind socks on Friday.
We discovered that Wind socks tell us the direction that the wind is coming from. It is useful for so many reasons but especially for aeroplanes for when they land and take off.
Here are some photos of us with our completed wind socks. Ironically, there was no wind on Friday.
